  Very dissapointed with how it all went on settlement day... Do your research before going with this agency. We purchased and sold with this agency both deals done at some time and the communication skills unfortunatly were bad, i found that before contracts went unconditional they were more than happy to help however once both contracts for sale and purchase went unconditional communication skills went out the window and all the excuses on why things werent done on time or appropriately started to come out, we honestly feel like they had their commissions locked in, now that both contracts were unconditional and therefore they no longer cared. on our settlement day people purchasing our property said they were ready to settle on the day we all agreed to, however when the day came so did the dissapointments because they werent ready to settle as their bank had not yet finalised their loan however we were told by our agent that they were ready to go 3 days prior to settlement, which in total ended up costing us $2,200 extra between rental fee to rent the property we were purchasing for two weeks as we had already moved our things out of the old property & into the new one so that settlement was able to happen, lawyer fee to write contract for a license agreement, so that the owner of the property we were purchasing from was protected incase settlements did not go through in newly arranged settlement date, plus because we had to keep the property we were selling for an extra two wks we also had to pay mortgage for those two wks, insurance, water & council rates. unfortunatly if pressure was not put on us like it was to remove things out of the property we were selling so that settlement could happen on time we would of never had moved our things from our property & into the garage of the new property we were purchasing and we would of kept the extra $2400 we spent. Also i believe the agent should of been aware that people purchasing our property had not yet finalised with their bank all paperwork for bank loan approval and therefore should of not agreed to settleling properties. Communication skills very bad however very quick to talk customers into going unconditional without certainty of loan approvals. Very dissapointed customer!
